Our Joyful Noise: Story-time & Crafts

Gabriele Davis is returning to the Fairfield University Store to read from her latest book, Our Joyful Noise, for a story-time and craft event two times: 11 a.m. and 1 p.m., on Saturday, Dec. 7, at the 1499 Post Road bookstore location. Children will be finding their "joyful noise" and making music as each child will learn how to make their own tambourine.

Gabriele Davis welcomes the sounds, songs, and rhythms that flow through her days in the northwest corner of Connecticut, where she writes, bikes, and reflects on the childhood memories that fire her imagination. The memory of her dad singing spirituals to Gabriele and her brothers at bedtime gave rise to her picture book Our Joyful Noise.
