Second Annual Business Analytics Showcase, co-sponsored by the Institute of Internal Auditors

On Thursday, November 7, from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m., the Dolan School of Business is hosting its Second Annual Business Analytics Showcase in the Dolan School of Business Event Space and is co-sponsored by the Institute of Internal Auditors.

This is going to be a terrific opportunity for faculty, staff, employers, and perspective students to learn about and discuss business analytics trends and projects (i.e. forecasting, data mining, python, database analytics).

Event Outline:

1:30pm - 2:00pm - Registration and Networking

2:00pm - 03:00pm – Fairfield University Overview and Student Projects - Teams will demo their recent forecasting, data mining, and database analytics project  

3:00pm - 3:15pm – Break and Networking

3:15pm - 4:00pm – Faculty Spotlight - Learn about cutting edge research from our top faculty in the field of Business Analytics

4:00pm - 4:15pm – Break and Networking

4:15pm - 5:00pm – Institute of Internal Auditors will introduce themselves, their work, and in some cases present a current or recent project that was completed using business analytics.

5:00pm to 6:00pm – Reception and Networking
