Join your colleagues who have successfully implemented against the grain engaged learning activities in their classroom for a hands-on workshop on how you can engage your students in innovative ways in your classroom.

FDEC Day will begin with a brief introduction of faculty that have successfully implemented unexpected pedagogies related to engaged learning in their courses. This will be followed by faculty led hands on workshops of your choice from those presented by your colleagues. During this time, faculty will have the opportunity to work on engaged learning strategies for their own courses.
