Escape election jitters with a good laugh!

Date: 11-06-2024

Time: 07:30 PM

Location: Quick Center Black Box

The theatre students have been cooking up a ridiculously silly show to get us through election week:

The Complete Works of William Shakespeare (abridged) [revised] [again]

by Adam Long, Daniel Singer, Jess Winfield, new revisions by Daniel Singer and Jess Winfield.

Join us for this rollicking, fast-moving, hilarious romp through all of Shakespeare’s plays in 90 minutes. It is full of energy, crazy transitions, outrageous costumes, and madcap enjoyment as the characters run across the stage and keep you guessing how they will pull off the next play. It's like Looney Tunes Shakespeare! It’s nonstop antics. There’s swordplay, wordplay, bloodsport, orgies, boobies, and dick jokes – just as Shakespeare intended. But, you know, tastefully… sort of.
