Professors Write! (Updated Event Time!)

Date: 10-30-2024

Time: 03:30 PM

Location: Kelley Center

Professors do a lot of writing, and oftentimes, that writing isn’t seen by our students or colleagues. Come listen to an interdisciplinary panel of professors read from their recent original works and works-in-progress and learn about their own writing processes, failures, and successes. Come with your questions about the writing process! Students, professors, and staff are welcome to this free event, sponsored by Core Writing, the Writing Center, and the Connecticut Writing Project, and students can even receive FYE Inspire credit for attending.

Featuring the work of Dr. Bryan Ripley Crandall, Dr. Kim Doughty, Dr. Laura Gasca Jimenez, Dr. Olivia Harriott, Prof. Sonya Huber, and Dr. Aaron Q. Weinstein. Moderated by Dr. Kim Gunter, with a response by Dr. Beth Boquet.

Event: Wednesday, Oct. 30, 3:30-4:45pm, Kelley Center.
