The Spiritual Exercises in Everyday Life (SEEL)
The Spiritual Exercises In Everyday Life (SEEL) were developed by St. Ignatius of Loyola as a 30-day retreat as series of reflective experiences to help the participant to better discern God's voice speaking to them in their hearts and be more aware of how God is present in one's everyday life.
The Exercises have the Hebrew Bible and Christian Scriptures as their foundation, but one does not have to be Catholic or Christian to participate. This 32-week adaptation of the Spiritual Exercises begins in September and ends in May with participants committing to daily prayer, monthly meetings with other participants; and frequent meetings with a Spiritual Director who will act as a guide through the Spiritual Exercises.
