Nursing Virtual Fair on April 9 + Career & Internship Fair on April 10

The University Career Center is hosting two more career fairs this semester for students in all majors and class years!
- The Virtual Nursing Career Fair will be held Tues., April 9 from 3-5 p.m. on Handshake. Student registration is open now.
- The Spring Career & Internship Fair will be held Wed., April 10 from 12-3 p.m. in the RecPlex. Students do not need to register for this fair.
Career Fairs are a convenient way for students to network with professionals from various industries, explore career options, and learn about internships and job opportunities.
Please encourage students to attend and share these tips to ensure they are prepared.

- The Career Counselors in each school's career center (and Career Peer Advisors) can help students with Handshake, resumes, networking tips, and much more. Students can e-mail their career center to schedule an appointment or drop in to see a peer advisor.

- Complete a student profile in Handshake and upload a current resume.
- Stop by the Career Center to print resumes and get a Linkedin photo.
- Wear business casual/professional attire. Students can visit the Career Closet to browse the wide selection of outfits available.
- Visit the fairs in Handshake to research registered employers, prepare questions to ask recruiters, and download the Handshake app.
On the day of the fair students should…
- Bring a folder/padfolio to carry resumes and a notepad.
- Use their StagCard to swipe in; name badges will automatically print.
- Stop by the 'Ask An Advisor' table for assistance from a career counselor.
- Get a new or updated Linkedin photo at the photo booth.
