The 17th Annual Commonweal Lecture "Nostalgia, Nationalism and the American Public Life"

Please join us for the Center for Catholic Studies' 17th Annual Commonweal Lecture, “Nostalgia, Nationalism and American Public Life," given by Phi Beta Kappa Visiting Scholar, M. Cathleen Kaveny, JD, PhD, Boston College Law.

Kaveny is a popular speaker on Catholicism and public issues, bringing careful analysis to bear on charged topics in her frequent essays in Commonweal magazine. As she has also been named to the prestigious Phi Beta Kappa Visiting Scholars Program for 2023-2024, Fairfield’s Zeta chapter of PBK is co-hosting this 7 pm lecture with the Center for Catholic Studies.
