All students, faculty members, and guests are invited and encouraged to join us for the next lecture of the academic year in the Donald J. Ross, PhD Biology Lecture Series on Wednesday, March 20 at 12:00 p.m. This event will be held in the Library Multimedia Room 101.
This month, we welcome Fairfield alum Zac Freedman, PhD, Assistant Professor and O.N. Allen Professor of Soil Microbiology, Department of Soil Science at The University of Wisconsin–Madison. Dr. Freedman will present his talk entitled, “It’s the little things that count: unraveling the link between microbial ecology and the future fate of soil carbon.”
Student attendees should have their Life@Fairfield event pass ready for attendance scanning. Refreshments will be available. Please see the University TV boards for more information. For those who cannot attend, this lecture will be recorded and available for student access in Blackboard later in the day.
