WORKSHOP: Considering Generative AI in Writing Pedagogy

The November 2022 launch of ChatGPT placed many of us who teach writing in a realtime current of pedagogical change. If you’re facing the challenges of navigating generative AI in writing assignment design, course policies, or WAC/WID learning outcomes, please join us in taking a collaborative time out as we reflect on what we know, what we don’t know, and what we want to know now, fifteen months later.
All faculty are invited to our workshop as we consider the ways generative AI echoes past conversations about writing technologies and raises new questions in the support of Fairfield student writers. Bring assignments and syllabi as well as your expertise, creativity, and questions.
