Bishop Seitz: "Immigration: The American Story"

Launching a partnership between America Media and Fairfield University’s College of Arts and Sciences, a public lecture will take place on Monday, March 18th, at 7:00 pm in the Lower Level Event Hall of the Dolan School of Business.  At this event, we are proud to host The Most Reverend Mark J. Seitz, Bishop of El Paso, Chairman of the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops Committee on Migration, who will speak about the US Church in our current context, offering a lecture titled:  “Immigration: the American Story.” This free lecture requires registration; please see the link below. 

In light of the challenging circumstances faced by numerous vulnerable individuals at the U.S.-Mexico border, Bishop Seitz will emphasize the Church's place as witness and guarantor of the obligation to uphold human dignity.
