Three Career Fairs this Semester!

The University Career Center is pleased to announce we are hosting three career fairs this semester for students in all majors and class years!
- The Education & Human Development Fair will be held on Tue., March 19 from 3-5 p.m. in the Oak Room. Student registration is open in Handshake.
- The Virtual Nursing Career Fair will be held on Tues., April 9 from 3-5 p.m. on Handshake. Registration will open to students soon.
- The Spring Career & Internship Fair will be held on Wed., April 10 from 12-3 p.m. in the RecPlex. Students do not need to register for this fair
Career Fairs are a great way for students to network with professionals from various industries, explore career options, and learn about internships and job opportunities. Please encourage students to attend and share these tips to ensure they are prepared.
The Career Counselors in each school's career center (and Career Peer Advisors) can help students with Handshake, resumes, networking tips, and much more. Before the fair…
- Attend workshops for tips on navigating a fair.
- Complete student profiles in Handshake and upload a current resume.
- Stop by the Career Center to print resumes and get a Linkedin photo.
- Wear business casual/professional attire. Students can visit the Career Closet to browse the wide selection of outfits available.
- Visit the events in Handshake to research registered employers, prepare questions to ask recruiters, and download the Handshake app.
On the day of the fair…
- Bring a folder/padfolio to carry resumes and notepad.
- Bring a StagCard to swipe in. Name badges will automatically print.
- Stop by the 'Ask An Advisor' table.
- Get a Linkedin photo at the photo booth.
