- - Spring Career & Internship Fair is Next Wed, Feb. 14! - -

The University Career Center is hosting three Career Fairs this semester: The Spring Career & Internship Fair, an Education & Human Development Fair, and the School of Nursing Virtual Fair.

Spring Career & Internship Fair
The Spring Career & Internship Fair will be held next Wed., Feb. 14 from 12-3 p.m. in the RecPlex. The fair is a great opportunity for students to engage with potential employers, gain insights into various industries, and even secure internships or full-time positions. In addition to meeting employers from a wide range of industries, the fair will offer:

• ‘Ask An Advisor’ tables
• Resume printing station
• LinkedIn photo booth

Students can log in to Stags4Hire prior to the fair to view employers who have registered.

Education and Human Development Career Fair
School districts, community agencies, and non-profits are invited to the Education and Human Development Career Fair on Tue., March 19 from 3-5 p.m. Undergraduate education and special education minors and graduate students pursuing careers in fields dedicated to human flourishing including education, mental health, and the behavioral sciences will be participating.

Nursing Virtual Career Fair
Hospitals and health care agencies are invited to the Nursing Virtual Career Fair on Tue., April 9 from 3-5 p.m. Students from the Marion Peckham Egan School of Nursing and Health Studies will be able to engage with employers virtually in group and 1:1 meetings.

Preparing for the Fairs
Students are encouraged to take advantage of the resources offered by Fairfield’s career centers to ensure they are prepared.

Stags4Hire: Students must have a complete profile on Handshake. They can check out the Getting Started guide for step-by-step instructions.

Career Counselors: Students should contact their school's career center for assistance with resumes, developing elevator pitches, and networking.

Career Peer Advisors:  Students can drop in to meet with a trained student career advisor for help with Stags4Hire, LinkedIn, resumes, and more. The full CPA schedule is on Life@fairfield.

Career Closet: The Career Closet is available to those in need of professional attire for the fair, interviews, and networking events. Students can schedule an appointment at careers@fairfield.edu.

Resume Printing & LinkedIn Photos: Students can stop by the Career Center in the Kelley Center to print copies of their resumes and get a new or updated LinkedIn photo.
